About Me

Chris Roberts has been singing, playing, and entertaining since the age of four. Learning drums, harmonizing, and singing from his family, he quickly began carving a path of his own. The music of bands such as Nirvana, Metallica, and Alice in Chains had a profound influence on his interest. A procession of garage bands and performing at coffee shops lead him to Nashville where he majored in the recording industry business at MTSU. Over time, Chris’s musical palate changed and developed a deep appreciation for bands such as the Beatles, The Beach Boys, and other timeless artists. While there, he founded the Abbey Road Project; a Beatles cover band which performed around Nashville.

Stemming from his love of the older “unprocessed” recordings, Chris plays with no effects or background tracks to accompany him. His style ranges from Johnny Cash to Cee-Lo and everything in-between.

Chris began his full time career as a professional musician in 2005. He has played for charitable organizations including the Special Olympics, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Partnership Against Domestic Violence. In 2009, he toured with the Barry Michael Band to cities including Houston, San Antonio, Boston and culminating with a USO Performance in Singapore in front of an audience of 10,000. Since 2005, Chris has performed over 1300 professional gigs all over Atlanta and the surrounding area.
